1. Electromagnetic Properties of Bio and Nano Composites (Comsol/CST multiscale simulations from micro-Hz to THz;space charges and partial discharges phenomena; electro-rheology; electrostatic and cold plasma discharges);
2. Advanced Dielectric and Electrochemical Measurements (including impedance measurements from micro-Hz to THz related to bio- and nano-composites and nano-particles/living cells assemblies; tests on innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces);
3. Electrical Applications of Bio and Nano Composites (EM shielding systems; nano-medicine and theranostics assisted by THz analysis; electrochemical sensors; supercapacitors and advanced batteries; nano-structured magneto-dielectrics/MEMS);
4. RF and Microwave Technologies (meta-materials, high performance composites and functional systems synthesis; additive and adaptive manufacturing technologies including joining, adding, forming, consolidating, assembling, dismantling, recycling);
5. Systems Reliability and Diagnosis, Quality and Maintenance Management (including metrology, accelerated tests and experimental planning).
